Tupperware Announces Sale of Beauticontrol Assets to Youngevity

ORLANDO, FL, Dec. 14, 2017 -- Tupperware Brands Corporation and Youngevity International, Inc. today announced they have reached an agreement whereby Tupperware Brands will sell Beauticontrol assets to Youngevity, a leading omni-direct lifestyle company. As part of the deal, Youngevity will integrate Beauticontrol’s sales force into its company, marketing Beauticontrol branded products, as well as the other brands in Youngevity’s extensive product portfolio. Youngevity will also market Beauticontrol branded products to its existing member base. Tupperware will earn a royalty based on future sales of the Beauticontrol sales force, and sales of the Beauticontrol product line by the existing Youngevity members.

We feel Youngevity’s 20 year history and impressive track record make them the ideal company to welcome Beauticontrol into its family of brands. DALLAS, Aug. 2, 2012 -- Thousands of BeautiControl Consultants jumped to their feet in applause today when two Mercedes-Benz cars arrived on stage at BeautiControl's Celebration. The noise was deafening as BeautiControl President Daisy Chin-Lor and Vice President of Sales Chris Stuchlak revealed the beauty company's XTreme Drivers Program designed to reward leading Consultants on growth with one of two Mercedes-Benz models; the C250 Coupe or the SLK250 Roadster.

This year's annual Celebration was held at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, August 2-4. The event, attended by over 4,000 sales leaders, rewards achievement, develops leadership skills, and unveils innovative new products.

BeautiControl will hold its annual Celebration at the Gaylord Texan, July 28-30. This event, for all Independent Consultants and Directors, will bring a new dimension for 2011, with a special appearance by founder Jinger Heath – in honor of the company's 30th Anniversary; a 3-D graphics presentation, a fashion show, and sales training.

A fundraiser at the Riverchase County Club in Shelby County Alabama will benefit the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer and feature a raffle prize from BeautyControl Spa products. The event will allow women to come together, create art, get pampered and raise funds to battle the disease, Moutardier said.

For each pottery piece purchased, pottery manufacturer Mayco will donate 20 percent of the sale and Ceramic Caboose will donate an additional 25 percent to the Vera Bradley Foundation. Tickets to the event are $50 (tax deductible) and include a planter of your choice, paint and supplies, glazing and firing of your piece, a continental breakfast and raffle tickets to win a new Vera Bradley bag or BeautiControl Spa products.

It was February 2005 and the registered nurse was headed back home to South Charleston after attending a wound care seminar.

While the first USO Spa Day at the USO San Antonio Downtown Community Center may not have gone exactly as planned — a spa service provider and massage therapist had to back out at the last minute — the military wives and mothers were still able to enjoy beauty treatments from Mary Kay Cosmetics and Beauti Control consultants.

Beauty fails to catapult Tupperware sales

Tupperware Brands, the US-based retailer of kitchenware, cosmetic and beauty products, has announced a disappointing second quarter in Europe and the US, further exacerbated by falling cosmetic and beauty sales.

Overall results were helped by a strong performance in Asia and the emerging markets, boosting sales by 37 per cent in the second quarter to reach $438.6m. But cosmetic and beauty sales were disappointing, despite the addition of the company's recently acquired International Beauty business, bought from Sara Lee last August for $556m...

...As was the trend throughout its North American business operations, the company reported that sales for its BeautiControl North America business were down 5 per cent. But despite this, profit was up 13 per cent, reflecting a higher gross margin and lower operating expenses compared to the corresponding quarter in 2005.

The company also said that it was making some changes to its executive line up, which will mean that the BeautiControl North America division will now be overseen by Simon Hemus, currently president of International Beauty.

BeautiControl Convention in Grapevine

The convention is expected to bring more than $4 million in economic impact to the city, according to the Grapevine Economic Development Council.

“It was amazing,” she said of the trip to Beach Ford to pick up her award. Rousseau is an independent director for BeautiControl, an international party-plan direct-sales company with more than 70,000 independent consultants throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Similar to Pampered Chef and Longaberger basket parties, BeautiControl consultants go to homes, schools and businesses to help people de-stress, she said.
